Yes, Shooting Is As Fun As It Looks!

So it's 3AM and I have to be at work at 8AM. I am up this late (or, early) because I have been implementing a photo album manager for my website so that I can quickly add photos to my site through an online interface. The front-end was inspired by the FaceBook way of navigating photos which I have grown to love. So if the format looks a little familiar to you FaceBook fans, that's why. I added the first album of us going shooting on Papaw Jack's land this past Saturday! It was such a blast! We started off by getting to see Memaw and eating some of her famous fried chicken, then we headed out to the land with lots of guns and ammo. We shot-up an old VCR and computer from IBM. We also shot empty pop cans, bottled water, old fruit and a milk-jug of water. It was amazing to see the old apples explode when they were hit by a 9mm bullet.

William drove his Jeep down there and saw a stream that he wanted to cross with his Jeep. Against the wishes of my dad, William forged ahead into the stream and for the first time since his Jeep was lifted, he got stuck. We spent the following half hour or so trying to push and pull the Jeep out. As the Jeep's tiers spun, the mud flew into the air and on everyone around. We have plenty of footage of the whole thing, and I will post it once I get the “Video” section up and running.

After shooting up all we could, we headed back to Memaw's where she feed us some of her famous Butterfinger Cake!! And we had some great pizza to go along with it. Yum!

Well, I must go to bed now and get a few hours of sleep.
