Guess how much my tuition was this semester? Twenty dollars. That's right. With the KEYS money I got from High School, I made enough to practically pay for classes. Now guess how much my German textbook was. One hundred and seventy dollars. THAT'S EIGHT AND A HALF TIMES THE COST OF MY TUITION! And that's just ONE lousy book! It doesn't include my C++ book.
I swear these renarded textbook companies need a good kick in the pants. THIS IS AN OUTRAGE! How much longer will this obvious injustice to college students continue? Does anyone care? Should a kid not be allowed to go to college simply because he can't feed the dirty, fat faces of the loaded textbook companies? That's called BAD BUSINESS ETHIC. Any business with bad business ethic deserves to be interrogated, placed in public display of their disgusting business nature and fined for so much money that they cannot possibly continue doing business. At that point, the owners should be sentenced to jail for the same amount of time someone who "took advantage of 9-11." There is a small difference between a textbook company and a SCAM ARTIST; that is, the text book companie have found a way to SCAM legally.
I refuse to have to buy another $170 book (IT'S BLOODY PAPER FOR CRYING OUT LOAD!) I would boycott the jerks, but YOU CAN'T! I would write a letter of outrage to the companies, but they already get enough of those and we've seen how well those have helped. So what do we do? Throw our hands up in the air and say, "Oh well, what can you do?" Unfortunately, This seems to be the answer until someone in the government who has half their brains and can do something about it actually does something about it.
Did I tell you that I hate sleazy textbook companies?
