Glasses That Only A Mother Could Love

Yeah, it's midnight and I have to be at work at 8 in the morning and what am I doing now? Wasting my valuable sleepy-time updating this site. It's sad but true. So I went "glasses" shopping with my dad and Jennie last night. The glasses weren't for me, but for dad. We went to this place in Lexington Green and there was a huge assortment of glasses for every type of person. I found an awesome pair of Mr. Mercer glasses that I immediately tried on. I don't think they were explosion-proof like Mr. Mercer's are.

So the whole time Jennie is helping my dad find a pair of glasses, I am finding the most ridiculous glasses, putting them on and making weird faces at Jennie. It was absolutely hilarious. Well, at least it was to me. Jennie didn't think it was too funny. I will try harder next time to make even goofier faces.

Guatemala is so close I can taste it! I leave on the 29th of December, but I will be gone before then on vacation with my family. I will get to celebrate new years Guatemalan-style! Yeah! Dude! My Geography professor touched on Guatemala today and everything he said made NO sense what-so-ever. He was like, "There is a civil war that has been going on there since the 50's and because of that, there are no paved roads, but only dirt roads because the civil war destroys everything. They have great land to do agriculture on, but the land is destroyed because of the civil war. And why do you not hear about this on the news? Because we don't care about Guatemala." I was like, are you OUT OF YOUR MIND!? Of the four different times I have been to Guatemala, I have yet to see a dirt-road. Yes, the roads have massive pot-holes, but come on man! And what civil war? If there was one, it wasn't very apparent... I don't know about this guy.
