Made it to Guatemala

I can't believe I am actually in Guatemala to stay for six months. It's crazy to think that it's already here! Last night I stayed up until 3AM and woke up around 4:30AM to get ready for the flight. Jennie, mom, dad, and grandma all came to the airport to see me off. I was doing fine until I had to turn from embracing Jennie for a long time and hand my passport to the airport lady. It was at that moment when I started to get a little choked-up. I already miss everyone, but I know God will do amazing things here.

If you would like to talk to me here for free, and you have a fast internet connection, you can download a piece of software called Skype which will allow you to call my computer and talk to me for free. It works really well, I have already talked with my mom and David Potter tonight.

My hands are so dry and messed up that they are cracking and bleeding. It totally stinks. My hands have always been dry during the winter months, but this year is especially harsh on them. I am hoping that the warmer temperatures here in Guatemala (70 degrees during the day) will aid in keeping my hands from being so dry.

Well, I had better head off to bed now, but I will keep this site as up-to-date as possible while I stay here in Guatemala. I love and miss you guys. Keep praying for God to do great things here! He answers prayers!
